Plug Change Interval

I realize the Indmar manual says to change plugs every 300 hrs or yearly, any other recommendations? If I do it this year, it will be the first change since my boat was new, no doubt overdue. I have an 05 Response LXi, 340 Monsoon with 200 hrs.

I just do mine every 100 hrs, that's about 2 seasons for me.

You have the platinum plugs and they last longer than the regular plugs. If you are hardcore slalom (35-38) , platinum plugs will last at least 200 hours. If you are not hardcore slalom you can keep running platinums 300-400 hours.

Thanks guys.

I guess I'm curious why Indmar would suggest changing seasonally but is not specific on the type of plug.
