Rudder adjustment

Recommended Posts

Sunscaper

I have to install new rudder, and I was wondering which way to adjust the little fin inside the rudder. Just need a good starting point. I assume it depends on the rotation of the prop? Any help would be nice. 2008 23 VLS

Leave it straight and go try it. Good chance you may not need to adjust it.

If so, push it out the port side to increase torque, and out the starboard side to decrease torque on the steering wheel.

I need to adjust mine, but haven't looked at it closely yet. What tools are needed?

Thank You. I sort of planned on doing that. But I was not sure of which way to turn to correct. Thanks
