Draining Transmission Return Line

I have a 96 Sunsetter LX and noticed there is a small leak from the hose going into the cooler (feed line). Just wondering if anyone has replaced the hose before and what to expect or any "how to's? While I'm at it, I going to go ahead and replace the return line.

i had a warranty repair done and iirc you do not throw much torque at the fittings.
