Illusion X cable attached to spring snapped

Has anyone had the cable that attaches to the Illusion X lowering springs break? Last weekend when I raised the tower I had a hard time getting the pins into the tower and then I noticed the cable on the starboard side was no longer attached to the spring.

I removed the cable today and the rings on each end of the cable are crimped onto the cable. Has anyone ordered a replacement from a dealer or been able to loosen the crimps to get the cable out?

No, to answer your questions, I have not had to deal with it. My guess is the cable ends are factory crimped, so you will get the whole assembly and not have to worry about crimping anything.
