I just got the silver edition decals and will be putting them on tomorrow- has anyone put these on or have any helpful hints so I don't mess up.

Thanks

If you're nervous and don't have any experience doing such a thing, I'd recc. a sign shop do it.

That's what I'm gonna do and I've installed a few vinyl graphics in my day. It's just not worth messing up something you paid so much for.

Yup. Use a mixture of about 3-4 drops of baby shampoo to a full spray bottle of water. This will be be your slip solution. Wet the whole area down with this mixture. For the long decals you will need two people most likely to do them correctly. Peel the protection off the back of the deacl and spray it down with your slip solution. Then put it on the side of the boat and get it set where you think it should go. Squeegy the water out starting from the middle and working towards the ends, trying to get all the slip solution out from under the decal. This is another time when another set of hands comes in handy. Use a soft plastuc or rubber squeegy so you doon't damage the decal while working it. It's really not that bad. Just make sure your hull is good and clean, stripp all the wax off with vinegar and water or a prep cleaner, and DON'T accidentally drop the big decal on the ground. You'll never get all the dirt out of it! Might have done that once
