Rear Ballast

I just bought my first v-drive, a 06 VRide, and it doesn't have any rear ballast. I was wondering what my options are as far as set-ups. I would like to use it for boarding and surfing. Sorry I'm kind of a newb, just trying to get some info.

I'm about to try my setup on Sunday. Here's what I'm thinking:

400 (actually closer to 500lbs) in rear locker-surfside

550 on seats-surf side

500 center

550 in bow-surf side

wedge

You can fit 750's in the rear lockers, you'll need pumps, hoses, fittings, may have to drill holes, run wires, hook up switches, etc, not extremely hard but can be overwhelming. Luckily mine had the 200lb hard tanks so I just removed them and bought some fittings and the bags. You'll want some bow weight as well, unfortunately our options are limited. Try searching the "Ballast How To" thread under Modifications for tons of information. BTW Flyhigh ballast bags are the way to go
