I have a 1997 Response Lx and the floor behind the doghouse needs replaced, it's an aluminum honeycomb design that is about an inch thick by 24" x 32 1/2"...does anyone now if you can buy these or should I just use marine plywood?

You can certainly get it from the dealer, there are materials distributors out there that most likely carry the material such at McMaster Carr, Aircraft Spruce or West Marine.

I just turned mine around, remount the recessed handel and you are done. The smushy part will be under the rear seat. OK so at least it is on a DD wakesetter.

I had mine (2001 Response) replaced by Malibu under the lifetime hull warranty. They had me ship my old one to them so they could make an exact fit.

A couple problems though, the first one they shipped was the wrong size. The second one seemed taller, fit the hole, but the carpet did not match.

Since I don't keep my rear seat in the boat, turning it around was not an option. If I do it again, I will find suitable material and take the carpet off the old one and install it on the new so it matches perfect.
