I am looking for new wheels for my boatmate trailer:

Is there an offset for trailer wheels? If so, anyone know what it is?

Is the lug pattern 5 4.5"?

5 on 4.5 , zero backspacing (offset). If you find the wheel you want with a positive backspacing, you can buy adaptors to go between the wheel and the hubface to center the wheel under the fender. There are a number of companies that have lots of sizes or some will custom manufacture. Here is one example http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

And, you need to go into full pimp mode and have the trailer wheels match the tow rig.
