Malibu guages

Bought first Malibu during the off season its a 2000 model, had first ski behind it April 3rd awesome pull, anyway my fel guage does not work right, bit of an inconveniance having to top up so often, any ideas how to fix, do I need new sensor or guage. Ditto with depth guage, it goes blank when I take off. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I know I hard issues w/ my old SLXI and the fuel gauge not reading correctly. There was a fix fuel sender done a couple of years ago. The depth gauge underway that I had was a Lorance and it routinely would blackout or stuck on the last reading until it picked up some on the bottom. You might want to check the connections to verify they are all connected properly.
