I ran across this while fooling around after finishing my TurboTax today.

How about a similar test Malibu vs. Mastercraft ?

Ha ha. My dad was totally sold on the Evinrudes after watching all the promo videos they put out. Then he realized they didn't test against any 2-stroke motors like the Mercury, which is just as powerful if not more. Our family has nothing but BRP products for snowmobile and jet ski, but their marketing spin is legendary.

BTW his new boat has a Merc 2-stroke on it. He would have been happy with either one.

I have a 70 hp 4 stroke Evinrude on my pontoon and I hate to say it but nothing but problems. It is prior to BPR but it is very frustrating! Could be the company was going under.

I think BPR has some awesome products.

Any one have a reason why I can not keep plugs from fouling on my craparude???????

Pretty funny, the comments pretty much slam lemonrude 100-1. Of course when they don't throttle up the Merc (note there is no prop wash) what would you expect?
