My Tach is off??

Recommended Posts

At 34 mph the perfect pass shows 3340 rpm but my analog tach shows 4000rpm. The times are right on. Also at idle the analog tach shows about 250 rpm higher than the digital in the PP. Any thoughts??

I can only refer you to one of my favorite "ancient proverbs"

The man with one watch always knows what time it is, the man with two watches is never quite sure

Translated to boating:

The man with one tach always knows his RPM's, the man with two tachs is never quite sure...
