perfect pass stargazer versus malibu speed control

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if you can disengage the perfect pass stargazer from throttle control, still keep the GPS and speed capability while at the same time reinitializing the malibu cruise control. The only way I've found to use the malibu cruise conrol is to completely unplug/power down the stargazer. I'd like to be able to use the malibu speed control yet still have the stargazer be powered on and reading (but not controlling).

Im not sure why you would want to do that, but is possible.

Is it DBW or Servo?

It's DBW. I tried just unplugging the the looped 6 pin on the rear starboard side of the engine (per what the perfect pass people said to do) but the malibu cruise control still said it was disabled. I had to disconnect all the plugs and the ground in order to get the malibu cruise to work.

Yes, it's a bit of a strange request but it's result of some control issues with the perfect pass and not wanting to send stuff back to PP in canada.
