Congrats...

Got mine out yesterday and ran a set. No gloves or hood, wish i had one headed back into the wind. Felt like i ate ice cream too fast!

7mm wetsuit??

Damn, does that thing stand up on it's own or what?!

Any benefit over using a drysuit?

Congrats on getting out.

But lookout. We're sending some ugly weather your way now. After being in the mid 60s for some time, we are expected to get 3" - 6" of snow & 45 mph winds.

No benifit, just already owned the wetsuit, gloves, hood and boots for scuba diving :) Use the gear for early/late season wakeboarding and surfing more than than diving.

My wetsuit is a Henderson with a flex neoprene, its softer than others I've seen. It's kinda like wearing a marshmallow padding! But I wasn't cold, actually it was almost too warm.

80 here yesterday, 68 today and forcasted to be rainy and 60ish for the next week.

Felt good to get the Bu back in the water, now just have to watch out for the chilly nights and keep the heat lamp in the engine compartment when needed.

Hehe, marshmellow padding, huh. So no fear? Crashes don't hurt? ;)

We've been winterizing every trip out the last month or so. Also have an on-board charger & bilge heater (see BoatSafe or Xtreme). So draining everything, wiping the boat down, covering, parking & plugging those in takes about 15 minutes.
