Now that you have a new health care system being introduced you will feel our tax pain!! Just ribbing a little. I have to get a bottle of the Hot Sauce and give it a try.

Better yet save yourself some $$$ and come down here to buy all your cleaning protective products...afterall we'll need your tax dollars to pay for health care....ROFL.gif

Just a little late nigh ribbing!

I have use Babes, water/vinegar, and 303, what is different/better with the Hot Sauce?

I have some family in Vernon that I may have to go and visit again, sounds like a road trip.

Good question - Babes is a good product. What makes Hot Sauce different is that it is truely a one step product - you remove the watersports and leave a clean, detailed, protected surface. To get these results with Babes or Ducky or anything else currently on the market, you will need to do two steps. For Babes as an example, you would need the Spot Solver for the hard water spots and then to go over the surface again with Boat Bright. Again, great owners and a great company with nice products, just two steps to acheive similar results as the Hot Sauce with one step.

Our products were developed along the Colorado River between Lake Mohave and Parker, AZ - some of the hardest water in the world, plus one of the hottest places in North America throughout the summer exceeding 110 degrees daily. That's why we wanted to (and feel we have) developed premium products with 'less' cleaning time.

Water/Vinegar will strip the wax and if not waxed regularly, speed up the oxidation process of you boat. This I know from personal experience. We used to use this combination on our 1995 malibu as a kid and it really started to look beat and old. I then spent about a week color sanding, buffing, color sanding and buffing some more to bring back the shine. We're about 90% of the way there and will probably never get back to 100%, which I guess so of that can be attributed to 1500 hours of use and 15 years old.

I like 303 Aerospace as an interior protectant, not a conditioner like our Condition Sauce, but it is a good protectant product. I never use any 303 products on the outside of the boat where Hot Sauce excels.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Patrick

Thanks a lot for the replies Patrick. I am really anxious to try your product up here now. It is nice to see a vendor not bash someone else, but just try and sell the product on it's merits alone. Keep it up!

I'll second that!

Any time a vendor is comfortable enough to promote their product without denigrating their competitors makes me far more likely to do business with them

I got the initial order today. Thanks Patrick, can't wait to try it out. The wife saw the bottles and asked if we got some new Hot Sauce? (Gotta love Tex-Mex food)

Hot Sauce

Vinyl Sauce

Pro Sauce

With these products, the boat should be "Blinged" out!

You are very welcome Ronnie. Interesting you mentioned Tex Mex - I'm sure you'll love this shirt that we made previously. I believe there are a few selective sizes avialable: M, L and XL. I'll get a count of inventory and offer these to the Malibu Crew as well for the group buy special.

Can you say "Decals"? If you sell (or include with product purchase) decals of that picture and having it placed on customer's boat trailers, boat windshields, truck windows, wakeboards, etc., you are guaranteed to turn heads and get attention to your product. Smoothy!

LOL I'm thinking I'll need an XL. Patrick can we work this into part of the package deal?

Depending on inventory, absolutely!

Thanks and we'll be in touch soon.

Hey everyone...its great to be a part of your Malibu Community. I spoke with Ronnie this morning about the Boat Bling product line and will work to get a special site buy or special in the very near future. Patrick

Any update on the special? I hope that I didn't miss it. I have been trying to stay on the lookout for it and I am currently out of Babes and would prefer to get Hot Sauce this time and I plan on loading up. Will it show up in Group buys for all members or paid members, deal street or crew deals? I don't want to miss it and I can't view all areas so maybe I all ready have.

Does this stuff have a shelf life? If I bought several gallons how long would it last?

Thanks for any info.

As Ronnie did mention - we are finalizing the Group Buy and it will be available by this Friday. Shelf life of the Hot Sauce and Vinyl Sauce, to our knowledge thus far, are multiple years. We still have some quarts and gallons of our original batch of product at our warehouse which we check every 3 months to ensure its still good. This product has been in our shop since January of 2006. The waxes are best if used within a year or so.

We're going to offer to Group Buys specials - one with Four Quarts of your choice and one package that includes a gallon(s) and quarts. D Goose will post all the details soon.

Thanks for everyone's great words, support and anticipation of this Group Buy. I can assure you that your satisfaction is guaranteed and the deal you will receive is the best deal ever offered by Boat Bling.

Thanks,

Patrick

The Hot Sauce is amazing....

Earlier this year, I bought a gallon of Malco Aqua Wax... I was hoping to use this with a little vinegar mixed in for a wipedown spray that would take care of water spots and leave the surface feeling waxed... Well, I've been experimenting with some different mixtures, and can't find one that will wipe away as easily as Hot Sauce. Even though Aqua Wax by itself wipes down without streaks, once I mix some vinegar in, it seems to leave a light residue. The Hot Sauce wipes completely clean very easily, leaves no residue, and leaves the surface feeling very slick. This is by far the best product I've found for wiping the boat down when I pull it out of the lake!! I'll definitley be ordering some on the group buy!

Used mine last night......I agree with the above posts. Very happy with the product and doesn't leave a haze like other wipe down products I have used. Thanks for the sample I will be part of the group buy.

I've been away for a few weeks but just wanted to say thanks Patrick for the hot sauce sample. I've not had a chance to try it yet as my boat is in storage and the ice is still on our lakes.

Based on the replies it looks like everyone is pretty happy with the results. Looking forward to giving this stuff a try, thanks again.

We don't have trees on our lakes like you do, but we did have a 94 degree day in Phoenix yesterday. The lakes were crowded :)

Thanks to everyone for the great words and support. I'm glad we are able to offer this great buy for you all.

Thanks again,

Patrick

Gave it a try yesterday after pulling out of the mud pit that is Buena Vista. Boat cleaned up great! Easy to apply and remove. Couldn't ask for more! I would be shocked if anyone that got a sample does not purchase.

Thanks again for the sample!

Used the Hot Sauce for the first time this weekend and was very impressed!!

But Patrick, I have a question..... Earlier in this thread there was mention of using a vinegar and water mix to accomplish the spot removal. The draw back to this is that it removes the wax eventually right? Which your product claims not to do, correct? But I have to say, it sure smells like there's vinegar in it. The next day after wiping down the entire exterior of the boat, my hands still slightly smell like vinegar and the towel that was used totally smells like vinegar. Does the Hot Sauce product have vinegar in it? If so, what stops it from removing the wax as discussed earlier in this thread?

TIA
