2010 LXi

I presently own an 04 LXi. Looking at the 2010 LXi I noticed the hull had changed from my 04. On the lower sides of my 04 running to the rear is a chine indented about 1/2" and 6" tall at the transom. On the 2010 Model this was eliminated and the sides were completely flat making the transom wider with a reverse chine underneath.

Does anyone know when they changed the hull and what differences it made?

While my boat skis great at 34, the troughs get larger at 32 and 30mph. Has this improved with the 2010 Model?

Any changes instore for 2011?

Thanks, ED

The hull was redesigned for 2007 with the intro of the "Cut Diamond" hull. It has a reverse chine and higher freeboard. It is less prone to dipping the bow and skis great at 30-32 mph. FWIW most troughs get larger as you go slower. If it has improved I can't say as I haven't skied behind a pre-2007 lxi. I've heard the new hull isn't as good for barefooting but handling is better. Try one out. Good Luck!
