Wakesetter tower

Recommended Posts

I just bought an 05 Wakesetter from an estate sale it only has 85 hours on it and in great shape.. I brought it home and figured out how to lower the tower so I could put it in my garage; my question when I lower the tower is there something that should be with the boat for the tower to rest on so it does not damage the the wheel or dash ?? Also is there any after market parts so I don't need to use a hex nut to lower or put up the the tower every time like a twist handle or something?

Mount a rope to the ceiling in your garage and tie it around your tower so it does not rest on your dash....

Danger Island when you forget to untie it and want to pull your boat out of the garage. I prefer foam, pdf or other self-contained solution.

I was thinking the same thing. What a disaster that would be.

I have a 1 1/2 wide velcro strap clipped to an eye hook in the roof. Very easy to use. I do hear what is being said about forgeting but I get into a program and go through the sames steps each time, never have an issue...... and being up this way leaves the boat free nd clear to clean and dry
