How long after ordering should you expect a Spray Date?

OK...getting a little concerned. I ordered my 23 LSV 3 weeks ago and was told yesterday the order has not yet been finalized/accepted by Malibu so there is no scheduled spray date yet. Is this consistent with other peoples experiences? And once finalized/accepted, anyone know what the backlog is now? I'm getting really concerned I'm going to be without a boat at the beginning of the season...I usually put my boat on the lake the weekend before Memorial Day.

We ordered our Axis in November and the spray date was Feb 8. Thats about normal time when mine was getting done due to boat shows. From what I've heard spray dates are 5-6 weeks out as of around the middle of Feb. I know they had a huge influx of orders and they are working 5 days a week instead of 4 right now.

I can live with 5-6 weeks if the clock starts now or has already started ticking!

The dealer should be able to let you know when the spray date is. Once you hit spray date you're real close to getting it....I think its around a 6 day build and then prep to dealer and etc.

Congrats on the order btw..

From what i've understood they arent up and running in Merced. The Loudon plant is the only one producing right now.

Sorry Bennekm, I see your dilema, hopefully it will get accepted soon and they will get ya up and going.

That's what the lady at Malibu in Loudon, TN told me as well. They are only production and all warranty and parts are coming from Merced.
