I dont see anything....

Really? there should be an embedded youtube clip. I'll add the link to my original post so you can watch if you like. It is bizarre that you can't see it though.

My bad, I was at work and Youtube is restricted. Looks like fun, but I think surfing would be more fun. btw when hes doing flips wouldnt there be a chance of this skiis hitting him in the head when he lands?

So does he have a tether on each ski, or does he have to go fishing every time he wipes out?

*disclaimer, I did not watch the entire video, so my question may have been answered and I just missed it*

After thinking about this some more is may be more dangerous than snow skiing if you get caught up in a wave and totally loose track of where the skies are

That reminds me of way back when I was learning to slalom. I took a spill and just relaxed my body, next thing I knew the ski floated to the surface and the tail smacked me in the back of the head. I didn't think it was so funny at the time.

I'd say the wave skiing is a little dangerous, it is the ocean... but it is also the first time trying it out, I am sure more precautions will be taken if it goes anywhere.

I have a set of those wakeskis and they are pretty fun when the boat is set up to wakeboard. You can get some major air with them. That being said, they do create some pretty bad crashes. I have had them come flying off and hit me after a crash. My buddy got hurt pretty bad when he crashed on them. Thought it might be serious enough to go to the hospital. Ended up allright after several weeks of soreness.
