Going to Florida Barefooting second week of March

Recommended Posts

I am going down to Winter Haven March 15th and my daughter and I are going to partake in some barefooting. For me the water temp is not a huge deal since I have a drysuit, BUT she doesn't. Is it to cold in the lakes with just her barefoot suit for a whole day of training. Lets face it...it's her vacation too so if she's going to be miserible and freezing that doesn't make for a fun day for either of us. Any thoughts on who's there now and has been there recently??

Get her a drysuit.

Second week of March can be either extreme....either the warmest it's been all winter, with gators catching some rays on the docks, or with your boat driver wearing a parka and ski gloves.

I've been there at both times, second week of March.

Peter :)

Thanks for the updates. I figured the water would be crazy cold. Oh well, I just hope it is sunny...and I'm working on some leads for a drysuit for my daughter.
