Im considering a new 2010 VLS and they tell me it's a new hull as well as interior layout. Has anyone purchased one who has had the previous model years? Real life input please? Any info would be helpful, thanks.

Just to clarify the models you are looking at are the Malibu VLX (2010 model) and Nautique 230? The Malibu VLX hull was redesigned for '09.

Sorry, I got the model letters mixed up. It's the Wakesetter 23 LSV

Thanks for the review link. Very informative.

So...did the hull design change from 2009 to 2010 on the LSV? Anyone?

No still the same.

According to my local dealer the new 2010 LSV is a brand new hull, the 2009 LSV is now re packaged as the VRide.

"anything you find used for a Malibu 23 LSV Wakesetter is the exact same hull/boat offering as our 2010 23 vRide. The current 2010 23 LSV model is a brand new retooling. We have re-released that hull to offer you a new, full warranty"

Your dealer is incorrect. The 23 LSV hull and interior were changed for model year 2008. The hull for 2008+ is unchanged. However, the dash was changed in 2009. The only major change for 2010 is the new tower.

The 2004-2007 23 LSV hull became the 23 vRide hull for 2009+.
