Perfect Pass Gauge Lights Not Woking

Recommended Posts

Polock

When I turn on my dash accesory lights all the gauges and switches light up except the Pefect Pass gauge. I've checked all the wires at the back of the gauge and they all seem to be connected. Is there a physical bulb that burns out or do I just have a bad connection somewhere? Its the WakeBoard Pro version with the tach on the upper side of the gauge.

iirc there is an incandescent bulb and i think it is easily removable (if there is room to access the rear of the display).

i don't think that this was a very hearty design. physically it is swell. electrically marginal.

when you have the twist out piece in your left hand inspect/ burnish the metal conductor.

if you can access the back of the display burnish the copper portion of the printed circuit board, too.

a pencil eraser will work as a burnishing tool.

edited re. burnish.

Your right, it un-plugs and twists out. Easy replacement, you just need to get to the back of the gauge.

I have the same exact issue with my PP gauge. I'll have to look into it once I get the boat de-winterized.
