I'm aware of the MB Story and this thread paints the picture pretty well - a niche boat for certain - we had a family we went wakeboarding with last summer for a few sets behind our Moomba - by the end of the day we both resolved to purchase newer boats and we hit essentially the same price-point - I eventually landed on new Malibu and our friends landed on a used Tomcat... it was about preferences I enjoy the Malibu customer service and our friends boast about the calls from Mike Brendell. I like the wake behind both boats. - bottom line - I got a new boat and our friends got a used one... it's a pretty close match- our dealer sells both lines and manages to keep both thier customers happy...

Thanks for the link. I think Malibu should license this if they can. Its elegance is the pure simplicity of operation. I test drove a Calabria V2 and it is a slick system.

I agree and Malibu should be able to take it a step further by monitoring it with a float and incorporating it into Maliview Thumbup.gif I've heard that another manufacturer has looked into it, but the licensing from Mr. Murphy, plus the cost of changing the hulls might be too much? That's my guess, but for whatever reason they aren't doing it.

I think that you would also want baffles in the tanks to keep a 1/2 full tank from sloshing to the rear when you start and sloshing to the front when you stop. Kind of like a fuel cell. Although if you didn't it would make for some interesting chili dippin' Thumbup.gif
