Heater ?

I just purchased a 2001 Response Lx. Does anyone know what kind of Heater malibu put in this boat. It does not work and it is shrink rapped at the moment and I can not look to see whats in it. Possably a Heater Craft ??

Most likely Heatercraft. I've never heard of any other brand.

Back in 2001 it would have been a heatercraft heater unit, back then they called it Accuheat. As long s you have good power and ground at the unit, the heater blower might have gone bad. If you don't have power there i would check power/ground at the switch itself.

Are you checking it at idle or at speed? A lot of these installations do not really put out a lot of hot water at idle.
