Replacement Gas Cap

Help,

My gas cap is gone due to forgetfulness during filling. It is the black plastic one for a 99 sportster. Anyone know where to get one except for the dealer? Also I am looking for the windshield walkthrough bumpers and my dealer was not particularly helpful on this one.

West Marine has a lot of boat parts that are hard to find.

I'm not going to say that I ever did that, but if I had, which I didn't, OK! I did it twice. I ended up calling every Malibu dealer that popped up on the web and ordered 2. One for the boat and one for the truck in case I managed to drive off with it hanging there AGAIN. The only thing that's going to keep that from happening again is to carry a spare. Get'em from the dealer, they're not that pricey.

Dealer and Malibu say that the company went out of business ~1999. Seems I need to change the whole fill. Seat out etc. I was hoping someone might know a substitute.

Seriously, try West Marine. I have been surprised by what I found there.
