Would this work?

Any idea if this would work behind a boat. 6' seems to be a bit bigger than most wake surf boards, I'm guessing it's for the ocean, I have no idea when it comes to these boards but I know the price looks right Thumbup.gifboard

The first time I ever surfed was with one of the sales guys from Bakes & they were using some big old ocean surf boards. A year or two later Jeff from Inland Surfer showed us his new "invention".

Yea, it'll work. Not sure it'll perform the same or be as strong as the newer boards.

I was thinking about it a little, with it being so big and the fins so long, it would probably be hard to do anything other than ride straight.

I’m a little confused. Didn’t you have a thread just a couple of weeks ago about your hours at work being cut to the tune of 40% of your income. I think you said you were having to sell a car and were asking advice on what else you could do to cut expenses. And now you’re buying toys? Dontknow.gif

The new toy does not have a motor and therefore will provide a gazillion hours of fun for nothing.

Oh except for the boat and gas and insurance and . . . . .

Is it considered an ocean board? Does it have the long fins?

It's an ocean board I bought from the T&C factory on my last vacation to Hawaii.

Town and Country: Griffin G6 6' 3" x 19.5 x 2" with 5 fin positions. I use 3 3" fins. One in the rear center and 2 in the forward outside positions. It works well for cruising behind the boat and some nice cutbacks. It's a little too long for most tricks. I like the ocean boards since they have the leash point. You dodn't have to worry about the board flying back in the boat.

I stormed into my boss' office and said, "look you........". No, we actually got some work coming in and with the pressure we were putting on corporate over the decision they decided to give it all back. But I still don't need my truck...anyone??
