I will have some great pictures for the 2011 calendar, as I have been asked to use my boat for possible Seattle Mist and Hawiian Tropics shoots in the spring. If they need more boats, i am sure i can get some volunteers from the crew!

Hehe, be careful. Those heels are murder on the upholstery.

Couple issues with that, spray on sunblock is a no go for me, boat full of models is a no go for the little lady.

The closing date is coming up fast, any additional submittals need to get emailed to me or you'll miss your chance to be in the 2010 calendar.

I was thinking about Bill's thoughts about multiple pictures for each month. With the vendor that we use, it's not possible to alter the calendar portion/side of each month. If we could, then I would have started adding things like the WOWs to the calendar long ago. And I would like to continue using this vendor as it is cost effective as well as easy for members to place an order.

With that said, I've been giving some thought to the idea of multiple pictures on the picture side of each month. It may work, in fact if memory serves I think that we may have done that on the first calendar. And it may be a way to get around the issue of pictures not being high enough in resolution. So when you send your pictures to Malibudude, don't be afraid of sending too many.

I've been playing with merging two pics into one image, but it's just difficult to get two images that blend well together. I'm looking to include the location and crewmember.

I think at this stage (Dec 9th) you should not spend a lot of time getting creative (time) with it & do it like your familiar with. In the future, maybe we can start playing with it earlier & come up with something new & different.

That said, I was just thinking of Tracy's comment about displaying special dates. Why not list those special dates on the picture side, maybe a strip at the bottom of the pic (closest to the calendar page)? Not terribly creative, but it gets the info out there.
