plug wires

Recommended Posts

Has anyone crossed over the blue indmar wires on the 340 monsoon? I like taylor wires but know there are other good sets - solid core, full silicon boots etc...

Anyone have any numbers before I tear mine off and head to napa for some trial and error.

Thx...

Indmar's wires are actually a really good wire, they have them made to their specifications to there is no real cross over.

No need to rip your wires off, just tell them you have a Chevy V8 350 with a Delco Ignition, just make sure they are at least 8mm wires.

I don't have a whole lot of info on our site but if you need to show the Napa guy a photo: http://www.bakesonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=762

How long do the blue Indmar plug wires last?

I would guess quite awhile. Longer than the automotive counterpart because the automotive wires are subjected to more heat and pollution. For example, my boat has about 280 hours on it now and the wires still look new.

This is assuming you keep them routed well and keep them from rubbing on this and that.

I only replaced mine because they're 10 years old ~480 hrs. Still worked fine and looked fine.

I put the red ones on because they look like they'll make more hp and torque than the blue ones.
