spark plug question...

Recommended Posts

04 23 lsv with the 340 monsoon.

It has AC 41-932 plugs in it. Interestingly The Malibu Owners manual calls for MR43LTS and gap them to .045 but the indmar engine manual calls for AC 41-932 gaped to .060 (which is what's in the motor).

Do these plugs cross to each other? I crossed the NGK TR5 to the MR43LTS and was going to gap them to .045 until I found I had AC41-932 in the motor... Hmmmm.... I need to do some more research...

I really like NGK plugs but really don't care... I'm not going to spark (hehehe) a war of who's plug is better... my main curiosity is the gap difference between plugs...

Thoughts...

AC DELCO PLUG SET, PLATINUM (AC41-993)

5.0 MPI and 5.7 Excal, Indmar 2002+ 5.7L engines.

Superceeds AC41-932 Also replaces MR43LTS for GM Vortec engines if you want Platinum. Plug gap .060

It seem like the non-Platinum plugs are gap a little closer for some reason. You won't hurt it or notice anything on our low compression engines going safe with .045 go .050 and call it good.
