This may have already been covered somewhere, but I can't find it...

Pulled the VLX out of the garage yesterday to take her for a spin and to run Stabil in the gas before I winterized her. Pulled the cover off and hopped in to start her up (it's been about 4 weeks) and she will only turn over. Think it's kind of odd, so I start paying a little more attention... When I turn the key on, typically the gauges reset, the digital readout comes on, and my fuel gauge, oil pressure, and voltage gauges give a readout. Nothing... So I grab a screwdriver and pop a plug wire off and ground it... again nothing. Check the fuse panel under the throttle and no popped fuses! Dontknow.gif

So... my question is, where am I not looking? Where do I need to start my troubleshooting? and has anyone else had this happen before? 2004 VLX that is garage kept. Frustrated.gif

Battery was pulled off the charger yesterday morning, lanyard checked twice, connections checked after the first instance. Totally forgot about the cannon plug...
