2004 Hammerhead 380 manual

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I can find a manual for the 2004 Hammerhead 380 engine? I'm having trouble figuring out if the pdf manual on the Indmar website covers this engine. It says it covers the Hammerhead 383, which came out later. I believe my engine is a 5.7L and the 383 is a 6.2L. This has caused me some confusion on the specs and fluids for my engine.Any help is appreciated.

PM me with an e-mail address and I can send you the '03' Indmar manual. It is about 3.5 MB in size. I also have the '04' Malibu manual.

While the file you pointed to says 2003, I believe it to be a 2005 or newer manual. The 2003 manual shows the Hammerhead as a 5.7L. The 6.2L Hammerhead, referenced in that manual, wasn't available until 2005.

If you have the 380, then yes it is a 5.7L. Treat it as such per the manual UNLESS it has the ETX Cats..

Actually, that manual was from Indmar and was titled 2003-Present.

That is the manual I have been using. I was initially a little confused by the 383. Mine is the 380/5.7L. It does have emission control system but not sure if that means catalytic converter. I called Indmar and they said just use the specs for 5.7L in that manual.
