Stringer Replacement Shop Recommendation

Recommended Posts

I have a ski boat that was made with fiberglass over wood stringers. Dry rot has shown up in the stringers. Two bolts fell out that hold the ski pylon. Some of the engine bolts won't tighten. Under the drivers floor, rot is around the drain hole. So as you can see, it is in multiple locations. I am looking for a shop that will replace the stringers with all fiberglass.

I was wondering if the Malibu factory on the West Coast does stringer replacement? Or does anyone have any recommendations of shops that perform this service? ( I am located in Portland, Oregon.)

Thanks,

greymac

HUGE project. I imagine it would be a lot, but I didnt price it as I did mine myself... I did floor and stringers for about 1000.
