WOW you should have found a lot of theads about what props have helped people out. Depending on how you load the boat down and the alt your at I would say the OJ 475/468 or ACME 1235.

This reminds me I have to post up the GB deal that I just set up last week. Sorry for holding people up and yes this is for paid members and will be posted in the GB for paid members area.

The 468 will get that boat out of the whole, fast and quick. I'd recommend this prop if you run lot's of weight constantly or are in short distance areas that you need to get up on plane quickly. If you want to cruise around this prop isn't the best choice as the RPM's are about 1k more than the speed. The 475 would be a better choice if none of the above is true in your case. The 475 will serve as a much better all around prop.

M-dude is right on about the two and the ACME is right in the middle of the two but more for the extra weight IMO.

I think the second prop sounds better for my needs, I mostly Sky ski, I don't really need alot of wake to get big air, My Daughter is still getting use to the bigger wake compared to our last boat, I loaded the boat to the max and she loved the challange so If i can just get her off the softball field she will continue to improve...

Plus1.gif for the OJ 475. I put this prop on my boat in the Spring and never looked back. We mainly surf but we also wakeboard, slalom, barefoot, and cruise (sometimes 15 miles out to Lake Michigan). Plenty of low end and can still barefoot at 45 MPH without hitting the rev limiter.

The 475 is a good choice, but if you primarily run w/o ballast even an Acme 537 would work well. It'll provide you more top end and slightly better gas mileage. That maybe what's on your boat now, so if you think it's slow out of the hole then the 475 would be a perfect fit. If for some reason you still aren't satisfied contact Eric Johnson at OJ and he'll usually switch out props to find one that will fits your needs.

We use the Acme 537 and have never had an issue with hole shot. We usually run with the ballast full, but without the wedge and no extra ballast. We do occasionally use a Fat Sac in a rear locker for surfing, but again have not had a problem. I haven't felt a need to switch out the prop.
