Haha.. I will get pics up soon.

One question though, I have a black boat that stays on a lift at my dock and have heard that routine wipedown of the boat with water and vinegar is a way to keep waterspots off. Is that true, or will that end up taking off the wax?

THanks

Congratulations on the new boat. The 2009 VLX is by far the best boat we have owned.

The vinegar will take the wax off.

We have tried alot of different products. Depending on how much you use the boat, some product leave a wax build up if you are using it daily and your routine is to wipe it down everytime with a sprayon wax product.

You can either used the vinegar as need for the spots and then re-wax with a sprayon wax or we have had pretty good luck withe a product made by Lucas Oil called Slick Mist it doesnt seem to leave the wax build up when using is everyday.

Ok thanks.. ill take a look at that.

And for those who want a picture, hows the best way to do it on a mac.

I have an account on Photobucket.com. I put all my pics there, then just copy the link & use the Insert Image button in the TMC toolbar to put it in the message. Sizing works itself out doing it this way.
