I tried to get tower lights with the new boat but they said that no one makes them yet. Does anyone know where I could find some aftermarket tower lights?

Just an FYI, I ended up building my own brackets. You can look at my photo's to see them if that helps, DIY now has more lights to choose from and you can even do HID's if you really wanted too. We only use them for loading and unloading when it's dark or while camping so I didn't really need HID's

I have 4 30 watt HID lights on mine made by trailtech.

Which light did you go with and did it have the threaded sleeve? Just curious how you mounted them :)

I went with the 30 watt. I fabricated the mounts for them myself.

I would be interested in lights and tower speakers for the 2010 illusion G3.

Thanks,

Dale

Sorry no pics of the mount but it's just aluminum flatbar that's threaded. The lights come with a threaded post on them. Just drilled and tapped the flatbar to the thread pattern of the mounting post.

How did you get the flatbar in the tower.

Just make them small enough to fit in the hole yet give adequate coverage over the hole after inserted. You have the Illusion X which makes it easier to install these given the thickness of the tower. I actually just used some electrical tape looped over the flatbar while inserted until I got the threads started.
