Vinyl Treatment

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I was cleaning my interior yesterday and I overly scrubbed some areas to get marks off leaving the vinyl dull in those areas. Is there some kind of treatment that I can use to restore the shiny look to those dull areas or am I screwed Dontknow.gif

Thanks in advance

303 Products

Edit: Maybe check with some vinyl repair shops in the area.

I've used the 303 products because of the recommendations on the various forums. But I hate how slick it leaves the vinyl. And it's not just for a day or two, but seems to come back everytime the vinyl gets a little wet.

Some alteratives include:

Babes. Love it. But hasn't been terribly easy to get a hold of it. Boat shops in our area seem to have it early in the year, then not order any more later on.

Meguiars has a couple of different vinyl/leather interior products. A buddy of mine likes their NXT Protectant in his 06 LSV. He passed up 400 hrs on the boat this weekend & his interior looks pretty damn good. And it's not slick.

Malco Products has two lines of products sold under the Malco & Presta labels. Their typically sold in detail or paint shops, or thru distribution similar to Snap-on. Lots of happy users on WW these days. Just got a bottle myself & will be putting it to use this week.

Exquisite is a product that some detail shops use. It's been sold on Ebay in the past. Lots of happy users on WW too.

Exquisite is a great product that we have used to clean the vinyl. Using a scrub brush really helps lift the dirt out

of the vinyl, particularly on the textured marine vinyl. We then use Babe's to condition and protect. Have been pleased with the results so far.
