Hey all, its that time of year again. I put a board rack on my titan tower this year. it was very tight going on (not stripped) i would like leave it on for the winter and shrink wrapping over it. Will it rip the wrap ? i am thinking about wrapping them with towels a duct tape but worried about them beeing wet all winter from moister. has anyone left them on or have a better idea?

As long as the person doing the wrap ( i work at a boat shop) knows what they are doing the racks should not be a problem. Pillows aka scrap pieces of plastic ect ect will work great from tearing the wrap. Btw I wrapped my bu last week Cry.gifCry.gif

Swim noodles are best espeically the ones with the hole through the middle - or pipe insulation works well too.

Slit the side and slip them over protruding edges of all metal before you shrink it. Cinch it down with electrical tape to hold in in place.

Everything comes off easy in spring.

Super simple and ubber cheap.
