Not that you can see it, but in tribute to Mr. Decker, the middle stripe is Machine Silver Metallic. :)

Funny. I know the guy who bought the Vride in the poster on the wall. Factory bow, mid & rear ballast, plus he added older VLX tanks to the rear, and about 500 lbs of lead in the walkthru. We've been having a lot of fun behind that boat this summer.

Oh, and the Response is pretty cute too. Whistling.gif

That Vette motor is badass! The big Cat exhaust manifolds look like it's flexin the gun show! Rockon.gif

It just pokes along Tracie...something like 54 on radar at the plant. With 3 of us and fuel my gps shows a moderate 52-53. Like the LS-1, it really enjoys the 4000 rpm range.

That boat & engine sure looks sweeeeeet... I must say though, that the trailer sure looks out of place.. ie' why is the boat sitting so high on it? Just doesn't have that custom fitted trailer look Dontknow.gif

I didn't have the opportunity to build it, and these days you have to get alot more specific on what the finished product needs to be. It's one of things that may change before I'm done tweaking it. Part of the look is a product of the trailer being wider than normal, and fenders are round tops which puts them lower. This makes the boat look higher on the same stanchion height, but the guy welding it doesn't look at these things.

At a minimum the tires need to become what I ordered, which was two sizes lower profile.

At a maximum the stanchions may get dropped to put it back in perspective.

I will say, it does roll down the road beautifully.
