Hammerhead seems loud

I have an '04 Response LXi with a hammerhead 380. It seems louder than other boats in my ski club. Is this engine normally louder or do I need to do something to my exhaust?

My 2006 RLXi with the 383 Hammerhead is louder than BillFooters 2000 Response with the Hammerhead. It sounds great at idle, enjoy the rumble!

I concur. Anytime I am near the lake and hear that throaty roar of an inboard V-8 my pulse just flat quickens.
