Haven't, but I wonder if the offical parts to install one are that expensive. You could probably do it with store bought plumbing parts but you need a mixer vavle inthere somehwere and that is likely to cost as much as the Malibu part.

I have made several from scratch. You can use ball valves at the hot & cold sources to regulate temp. Meet the hot & cold at a T & run 1 line into the shower pump. Hot supply from the block drain, cold supply from the impeller pump outlet. I did one on a vdrive nautique . The vdrive cooler was on the pressure side of the raw water supply . I used the cooler drain location for the cold supply.

I stand corrected, apparently you can do this from Lowes and at not too much cost. Do you know what the parts would cost from the dealer?

Pump from Grainger was the biggest expense. I think around $85. The rest is just brass, clamps & hoses. I don't remember total costs but I think 150 should cover it. Another plus is you dont have to carve up a spot for the panel & people can't mess with the settings. Never have to adjust mine.
