Intake manifold plug vs heater

Hello !

I recently bought a heater (accu heat) and start to install it today.

There are two plugs in the intake manifold, one on each side of the T-Stat. On the starboard side plug is typically used as the hot water supply for the heater and it has a plug in it. So the question is ;how can I remove this plug ? I tried to remove it but I striped the plug inside. I tried to remove the plug with a 3-8 alenkey socket + ratchet. Any advise ? Thanks for all your help.

I hope I'll be able to install it soon, since it's cold in our region !

IF it is easy to get to, I would soak it for a few days with PB Blaster. (Rust Penetrant) Then I would drill a hole in the plug and use an easy out extractor to remove the plug. If that still fails to remove the plug you can try some heat to break it free. If both those both fail, you could retap the hole you drilled and plug it back up.

The plug is now removed !

What worked?

Some penetrant oil for 24hrs, a big "torx" socket into a ratchet, an hammer to put the torx socket safe in place and my 2 arms + my 190 lbs and that's it !
