Dehydration Solution in 08 Response LXI

Ok, so i love my RLXI. Biggest shortfall was passenger side cup holders though.

Bow cup holders are good, rear seat cupholders( well, cup warmers since no box insulation) work fine, drivers side has one good one.

Decided to fix the problem. Also added a 2nd drivers cupholder, cause one is always filled with ipod/phone, etc.

What do you guys think?

Is it removeable and are you willing to sell one? Drool.gif

THanks for the compliments.

Yes, its just a slip fit with a neoprene koozie protecting the pylon.

Not really into it to make them to sell, but $$$ talks, haha.

I used a 6" square plastic garden drain grate thing wiht a 3" pipe deal on teh bottom.

Then just got some stainless poker table cupholders off of ebay.

A little bit of 1/4" plastic, some time, and a 3" hole saw, and it was done!

Outstanding! Cheers.gif Where do I send the royalties?

I'll be fabricating mine this weekend.

Do you know they forgot to put cupholders in my 'vette? (I spill more damn drinks in this boat)...I only have the two beverage "warmers" in the the back of the motor box.

I know a certain guy in NH that is dieing for one of those! That's a nice job too.

Been waiting for my dealer to cut the hole for the 2nd cup holder!

ROFL!! I've been cutting lots of holes! If I had your boat, I could cut a hole in it too! hehehe.

I thought all you wanted for christmas was a pylon cup tray.

Peter :)

Thanks to advice from a fellow crew member, I had my dealer add a second one when I purchased my LXi. I've been considering adding a third one: keys, cell phone, etc all handy in this area!

So if anyone does this, consider doing two more, not just one!

It looks very nice, but what do you do with the ski rope? I have mine hanging on a velcro hanger on the pylon when not in use. It would hang right on top of any cups in that cup holder.

Simply a matter of priorities: nice place for the ski rope vs. awesome comfy home for the all important beverages.
