Naked for sure! The only thing that makes a nice boat look cheaper than a bunch of cheap decals is BIG cheap decals. I had the dealer take the Wakesetter decals off my boat before I took delivery of it. I get lots of comments on having a classy looking boat. If your goal is to have the frat boy, "look at me" look then I would get some replacement decals.

Agreed with others.......NAKED! Those are some nice looking bare Wakesetters now that the graphics are gone. Rockon.gif If you put something else on, make up something cool that is yours. Thumbup.gif

Just for s***s and giggles could you Photoshop the wakesetter decal on there in the same color blue that's on on your boat? Never seen a bu with that and would be curious to see what it looks like. But out of your two pics, take em off!

Depends on the boat color for me. Many do look killer naked and think I like that trend. But then I see some boats where it looks like something is missing.

Also seen some recent boats with custom graphics looking pretty aggressive as well. The new stock graphics never really were my favorite though.

How hard is it to get the older replacement decals?? In rivrat's case being a 2008 I don't see it being a problem getting those graphics re-created if he decided after a while of being "naked" that he wanted them.

But in a case like mine where my VLX is an 04 with the tribal graphics and I yank them off and don't like the look, am I up the creek or going to pay a bunch for replacements?

Sorry if there is already a thread on this...

Bakes might have the graphics:

I am thinking about creating some custom graphics for mine, something along the lines of Ed Hardy (retro tattoo look) or Affliction (skulls), etc. to freshen it up.

For those that have pulled off their decals is there a noticeable color change from sun fade where they were on a boat 5-10 years old?

Here is the boat with the factory decals on it

I like this way better than the chrome or no logos. Don't know why....

My 07 Vride had no logos, my 09 has the logos. I think it depends on the boat. (Although some have told me I'd be better off with no decals on my 09 :)Whistling.gif )

I voted to remove them. My 04 the decals are starting to look ratty, was gonna replace them, then I saw the naked look, with just the chrome Malibu raised decals near the back, think I am going to go for that look.
