I live in Utah and KSL classifieds is where it is at for this market. It is way better than craigslist. If you are looking for a boat in this area don't even bother with craigslist because it will be listed on KSL.

Guessing you have already looked at Salt Lake Craigslist, but here are a couple listing on another site in SLC.

Seems like there are boats being listed daily and easy drive from Reno.

Thanks snowrider! Yeah SLC would not be a bad haul at all. Still have a few homies there from my time at the U too, so it could be a dual purpose trip. I'll add the KSL site to my monitoring regimen (LOL, typical utah'n to use a KSL site for ads more than craigslist).

LOL, no worries, good stuff! And you may notice that in my avatar pic I'm riding hardboots, plate bindings and I'm on a skinny alpine snowboard. Nothing better than chalky hardpack groom on one of those... so Tahoe is great!

Thumbup.gif Nice to see someone from the land of powder that knows how to use one of those things. I ski race in the winter, so I appreciate the ability to lay nice deep arcs into the hard pack! Speaking of which, time to order another 6 pairs of race skis....

and sell our 02 23LSV....

So the plot thickens a bit (or gets ever more confusing)... The family treasurer (my wife) wants a "newer" boat.

what are the thoughts on fair pricing for an 06 or 07 vride (equipped with PP, ballast, depth gauge, tower speakers, etc)? 150-200 hours.

And more importantly, will we be happy with a vride for wakesufing (regular and goofy) without having to add extra ballast over stock (say with 5-7 human ballasts on board)? The Mrs. is also not down with fat sacks, lead, etc etc.

If you do your homework, you can find a a good WS or VLX for the price you want and that is in super condition. you just have to be pickyand you can save some $$$

Thanks Gilby... if nothing else I've learned a lot in my recent road trips to look at boats I'm not going to buy. The issue out there seems to be that a lot of people are so upside down on their boats that they don't want to admit to themselves that they are going to have to come cash-in to a sales transaction.
