What if your dealer doesn't have a boat you want?

Just wondering if anyone knows what happens if your dealer doesn't have a boat you want since your picky about color and options? I'm not sure if its too late to custom order an 09 but i assume it is since the 2010s are arriving now. If you see one at another dealer, can they get that one for you? I just know they want you to buy from your home town dealer. Kinda considering a 2010 but the tower still needs to grow on me alot lol, much rather have the 09vlx.

If your local dealer has another 09 then he should be able to do a dealer trade with the other dealer or just buy it from them to sell to you. You might have to pay for shipping. Depends on the demand.

Thats what i did with my current vride and I don't think my home dealer liked it too much lol, I drove 12hrs away to get it but it was a leftover.

Yea, I've talked to my local dealer about it since. He wasn't thrilled about it. But at the time, he couldn't come thru with what I was looking for. He's since told me that he would work out a dealer trade to make something happen for me when we are in the market again.
