Need some help, is there a fix?

So I had an incident this weekend that made me go up and look on the top of the bimini. I noticed that the wake boarding rope is starting to wear through the fabric a little on the top rear bar. Is there anything they make to go over the rope, some kind of padding, or a shock tube like you see on ski ropes? I've looked and haven't found anything on any websites.

It would be hard to sew another pc of fabric now that the frame is all together as a protection pad.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I had my bimini reinforced at all wear points with that clear plastic they use for making windows in marine canvas. It works very well.

Did you glue it or have it sewed on?

i actually wore my bimini right thru to the rod from the wakesurf rope. I have since zapped the foam rubber piece that i took off either a ski, wakeboard or tube rope. I slid it on to the point where the rope wears and zap strapped it there.
