Since yall are talking about the bilge pump. My pump seems to run the whole time the battery is hooked up. I just got the boat, but the bilge switch stay lit up all the time. So I connected the batter and bilge started pumping, and then i disconnected the switch completely and pump is still running. What is going on? Please help.

Thanks

The bilge pump works off of a float. When the water reaches a certain height it kicks on, you may have something stuck in the float, Pull it out and clean it up or just replace it. There relatively inexpensive.
