Cruise Control Operation

Recommended Posts

Whats up guys! I just bought my first boat, a 2001 Malibu Wakesetter 23'lsv and i have had a chub every since =)

Anyways onto the matter at hand, there are several issues that I need to work out, but does anyone know how to operate the cruise on this boat? I did not get an owner's manual with the boat. I have tried to play around with it and i could at least could get it to say it to say 'armed', but after screwing I can't even get it to say that now. The guy I bought it from told me that he never used it and didn't know how/if it worked. The dash configuration is: speedo, computer, rpms. Can anyone help me out with the operation of cruise? The fact that I cant get it to work doesnt bother me bcz I am used to pulling w/o anything like cruise, perfect pass or a speedo lol, but when I want to wakeboard and someone else has to drive it becomes a problem.

One more thing how about the speedo and pickup switches, how do I utilize those?

Going to Possum Kingdom Lake for the weekend after work Whoop!

Thanks Guys!

get a copy of the manual here: http://www.perfectpass.com/pp_support_usersmanual.html

speedo switch is momentary two pole. if the speedo is indicating fast then hold the bottom momentary closed until the needle drops where it belongs. indicating slow, use the top of the rocker.

the other 'display' switch is probably better described in the owners manual. see the malibu website for that one.

I am pretty sure that it is not perfect pass though. It just says "cruise" and the computer that i have has like a 2x3 screen with three buttons on top; T, red circle, H and 3 on the bottom; up, E, down. Anyone else have this computer?
