COLORED GELCOAT

I went and looked at a used 07 LXI yesterday for a friend. The boat has 130 hours on it and is in good shape. The boat has blue gelcoat on the rear top deck where the slalom rope will always rub and chaf on every slalom boat. This scratching and chafing was very noticable even after 130 hours. What do you think? I think that white is a better gelcoat choice where the slalom rope rubs. The scratches are still there but not nearly as noticable.

Are you sure the marks were not from the cover that is used on the boat? I have a blue on the back of mine and I dont get marks from the rope, just the cover. They buff out pretty quick if I keep the wax up...
