I need to post up some pics of the step kids, but my laptops in Texas!

Jgates - Awesome that he is off to med school! Totally jealous, wish I had followed that road, still think about trying even now but it would be a huge sacrifice for family time for us.

Trent - That is nuts. Like I'm shaking my head nuts, so awesome to see that though.

That is awesome your son is going to med school, he will be the smartest boarder on the water!

We do a father son lake tour annually every spring, there are a few different dads that come out with us. Its truly a great time together, we were at lake #2 stop and he was putting his board on, the lake was complete glass, not a boat in site, silent, zero wind, fresh air, and I told him to take a few moments and look around.... as millions of people around us are going throughout there day, we get this opportunity to be out here on this beautiful lake together... and he had an awesome set. I can think of many moments when you will hear a bunch of cheers coming from the boat when someone lands a new trick, its a great time together. Nothing better than having my family on the water with me hanging out together, that is what its all about!

Disclaimer: Yes, I am guilty, I do pull my kids out of school to go wakeboarding! I consider it our physical fitness workouts.... :innocent:

As a dad, this post almost made me shed a tear.

At the end of the day, that priceless moment is why we do all this craziness.

Trav, your kids are lucky/blessed. Hoping to join you next Spring.

Good looking babe. And your daughter too. I know you are proud and should be.

Was the recital painful?

This years recital was painful last years was way better. That was the last one for us. We did dance and gymnastics for 2 years that way she could pick what she liked better not us pushing what we wanted on her. She likes gymnastics way better so do we but it was 100% up to her. Its only a winter thing for us as the summer thats what the yard is for.

Few more I love the summer we just get in the yard and play all day. It funny when it rains my little girl will come to me and say daddy mommy said I can't go out side its only raining 90% of the time we just go play in the rain as a grown up if you haven't done this in a long time I ask you to do it.

This is my favorite underwater pic of my boys. They were 16 and 10 at the time. The 10 year old was just certified that summer and this was his first trip to blue water. This was our last dive of the week and I look back and see his big brother breathing off his tank so he could save his air and stay down longer. No one wants that last dive to ever end and he figured a way to delay it as long as possible. Smart for 16 years old.

My daughter her first time on her knees on the kneeboard. We used to tow her around on her belly. In this shot, we didn't even realize she had worked her way up on to her knees. She took a face full of water that day and hasn't been behind the boat since. She was 4 in this pic.

But you have to ascend with your buddy when your buddy's air is out so what did he gain?

He gained me and little brother not being mad at him for running out before us because we were his buddies.

my daughter (center left next to the old short guy). This is at a scholarship event put on by local casino/hotel. The old guy (John Ascuaga) has been giving out the scholarships for 58 years to top graduating seniors from every high school in Northern Nevada. Kids came from as far away as Ely to attend (275 miles). One kid from each high school and she was one. We sat with the principal and school counselor at the luncheon, and her principal said she thinks my daughter has the highest GPA in the school district when weighting is factored in (straight As, and hard classes).

^^^ she still has an "F" in keeping her room clean tho.

Spencer's first ride this year. Started last year at 5 for his first solo ride on a wakeboard. We love how he always wants to ride first. I didn't even put a board on this weekend had to much fun pulling him and his friends.
