Control quarter panel repair

Recommended Posts

Hit a huge wake on the delta yesterday and it pulled the control side quarter panel out. It appears that it was glued on. There are three large discs with hole that have glue on them. Two of them are still attached to the boat . One ripped completely off. Does anyone have a clue on how to repair this?

What kind of glue? Is there a better way to attach it? Help? I dont want to miss any more riding.

Sorry no picture. I ended up taking the boat apart a little more and found things must have changed some where between 08/09. The older boats have a seperate module that powers and receives the transponder signal. Mine is integrated into the main boat harness. There is a 6-wire connector (with only 4-wires populated) that plugs into the harness. This powers the transponder, sends the depth and water temperature signals back to the main harness. My guess is Medallion had made a change to eliminate a module.

The transponder is HUGE. Like a pop can sitting on the bottom of the hull.

Guess I answered my own question by not letting things go.
